Co-Lab
A dance-based falls prevention program.
We’re thrilled to announce that the pilot phase of our new initiative, Co-Lab, is well underway!
Co-Lab is a dance-based falls prevention program that blends strength and balance exercises with the creativity and joy of movement. Designed to be responsive, it meets older adults where they are—whether in bed, seated, or standing—proving that moving is for everyone! Co-Lab is short for collaboration, so we’re excited to work with our community in bringing this to life.
What to expect
-
Responsive Activities: Tailored to each participant’s needs, ensuring everyone can join in, regardless of mobility, and featuring music they love. We are being asked to deign whole sessions as well as 'bite-size' movement activities for those in between times.
-
Holistic Engagement: Combining structured exercises with creative movement to support strength, balance, and overall well-being in a fun and engaging way. Fostering not just physical health, but as importantly social connection and joy.
